Because this movie and her character portrayed my life as a child. It was a little unnerving knowing that the filmmaker knows my secrets. And I would love to meet the inspirational character behind this film to see if I have been followed around since childhood.
Why I admire Margaret Atwood
Her use and understanding of diction is phenomenal. From “edible woman”, to “Journals of Susanna Moodie” I am always learning something eye opening about humanity.
Her writing is very purposeful and thoughtful; and I am forced to explore my way through her prose. I would love to meet with her and discuss for hours the reasonings behind many of her writings.
